Meet Mikaela Brewer (ig: @mik_brew)! She is a Canadian writer, mental health advocate and recent Stanford University graduate and varsity basketball player. Mikaela is a beautifully authentic, gentle soul who speaks and writes with intentionality and understanding. In this episode, she opens up about her challenges living with OCD, struggles with suicidal ideation and her journey to becoming a compassionate advocate for mental wellness. Mikaela and I are both ambassadors for @UnsinkableYouth. It's been lovely hearing about Mikaela's hopeful, resilient perspective through her advocacy account @mysecondlayer. And she has a sci-fi novel about shared memories in the making!!!
